Originally from Hillsborough, New Jersey, I have been living in the Charlotte area since 2001 and consider the south to be my home. After graduating from Stockton University, where I played soccer and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, I relocated to Atlanta and later to Charlotte for my career in Pharmaceuticals and my husband’s fire service career. Over our many years in this community I have developed friendships through coaching youth soccer teams, volunteering at teen pregnancy centers, and starting a small sewing business. I’ve also worked part-time at our church where my roles included developing small groups, working with the marriage ministry and event planning for both small and large scale occasions. My passion for real estate and design began years ago in helping both sets of our parents – one to find their dream home and the other house plans to build their dream home. Moving is one of life’s most exciting and stressful times. You need to be able to rely on a professional who is knowledgeable, detail-oriented, understanding and honest. As your realtor, I am committed to making your dreams become reality by listening to, educating and advising you through the entire process of buying or selling a home. When I’m not working you might find me out playing soccer in an over 35 women’s league, watching our two boys play soccer, tending to our family chickens or renovating our current home.

I’m a real North Carolinian—many generations back on both sides—and have lived in the Charlotte area since leaving (reluctantly) Carolina—the real one! Although my background is in renaissance English literature and history, I wound up in the corporate world of mortgage banking, which does give me the advantage of the lender’s perspective when I’m working with homebuyers. Although I’m from a small town, I’ve embraced the big-city life Charlotte has to offer and been involved in lots of volunteer and non-profit groups in leadership and worker-bee positions—the Charlotte Junior League, Mint Museum, Children’s Theatre, and Seigle Avenue Partners are a few of my favorites. I also volunteer at our church and find my heart is in working with the youth choir. My husband David is that rare creature, the Charlotte Native, and we live in Davidson with our two daughters and Golden Retriever. Eliza is 18 and a senior at the Woodlawn School, Mimi is 16 and a sophomore. Tripp is nine and the canine light of my life! Davidson is a fantastic place to raise a family, walk the dog, and await Steph Curry sightings. The family keeps me hopping—with volleyball, sailing, tennis, theatre, and all the great new restaurants up this way—I love sharing our small-town-in-the-city experiences with locals and newcomers alike.

Although I am originally from Cincinnati, I consider myself ‘nearly a native’ as I have lived in Charlotte since 1991. After working in the technical field in the banking industry here in Charlotte, I have been a licensed Realtor since 2007. I am married and have 3 children, 2 in college and one in high school. I have spent many a day (and continue to do so) on the soccer and basketball fields, the cross country track, and the classrooms volunteering. In my free time, I love to play tennis, garden, read and boating on the lake. I do slalom ski, well … when the water is completely glass and the air and water temps are just perfect and I have my special right-up rope. So… mostly I cheer on others when they wakeboard! I also treasure spending time – and many laughs – with family and friends. It is my goal to provide a seamless, smooth and enjoyable experience for buyers and sellers throughout the real estate transaction. Loyalty, hard work and top-notch client service are the cornerstone of my business. Call me today and lets get started.

I grew up in Illinois in the Chicago suburb of River Grove. I spent most of my life in the North but my husband and I knew we always wanted to get down South as soon as the opportunity allowed us. In 2012, that opportunity came about and we moved to the Fort Mill area and have loved it ever since! Prior to working as a realtor, I worked in the logistics field in management and worked in the veterinary field but real estate had always been my passion. It has been a great experience since I love helping people find the perfect home and all the pleasure that comes with them getting that key on closing day! I have three grown children…my eldest son is presently in Scotland pursuing his veterinary degree, my middle son has graduated and has a job in his field of business and my daughter is presently at Winthrop where she is pursuing a degree in English. My husband works in the logistics field in Charlotte. My hobbies include reading, travelling, and spending time with my family. We also like to hike with our two dogs on the weekends.

I am a native of the Carolinas and have thoroughly enjoyed living in Charlotte for 15 years. I grew up in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. Shortly after graduating, I relocated to Charlotte. As a young professional, I lived in Huntersville. After a few years in the Lone Star state, we longed to get back to the great city of Charlotte. For the last 13 years, I’ve enjoyed living in South Charlotte with my husband, Rick, and our two children. We have watched Union County grow from horse farms on every corner to great neighborhoods of which our kids will have fond memories. Prior to working as a realtor, I worked in the financial services industry for 19 years. First, in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers, then with Bank of America. I held a myriad of roles, but the ones that make the top of the list were always real estate related. In addition to having a comprehensive knowledge of real estate practices, I also have a working knowledge of the lending process. I pride myself in service, service, service. I am committed to providing continuous communication and offering my expertise to educate and advise my clients throughout the buying or selling process. I strive to hear from every client, “wow, we have never received this level of service before”. In my free time, I love spending time with my family. My son, age 16, is busy with year around swim. My daughter, age 12, keeps me busy with tumbling and cheerleading.

I moved to the Fort Mill area a little over a two years ago from Florida, when my Husband transferred to Charlotte for his job. I worked for Bank of America for 25 years in their Commercial Merchant Bankcard Division, which then merged with First Data. When we moved here I decided to get my license and pursue my passion in Real Estate. I have always enjoyed buying and selling Real Estate, as well as helping people. This career is the perfect combination. I get excited about the opportunity to help clients make their dreams of owning the perfect home become a reality. I am committed and loyal to my clients and feel it is important to communicate and educate them throughout the entire process. Prior to living in Florida, I lived in Southern Californina with my daughter as she was serving in the Navy, and prior to that I lived in Oregon for most of my life. I have 3 beautiful children, 2 girls and a boy and 3 beautiful grandchildren, also 2 girls and a boy. I love spending my spare time with my family- traveling, camping, hiking, kayaking and spending time with our newest addition, our fur-baby girl Ella, who is a West Highland Terrier.

I was born in the Charlotte metro area but throughout my life I have lived in Tennessee, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas, Michigan and Georgia. I have been through large corporate moves as a child and an adult as well as small in-town moves but I am happy to be back in the Charlotte metro area. I have a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Michigan and a MBA from Wayne State University. My professional career began at Chrysler/ Daimler Chrysler where I had varying roles within the Property Tax Department. I achieved a Michigan Level 2 Assessor Certification and was responsible for all property tax aspects for over 80 million square feet of real estate across the country. When my family moved to Georgia, I held roles as a Department Head at the University of Georgia Continuing Education Center and a Financial Program Assistant for the Jeannette Rankin Women's Scholarship Fund. Now that we have been in Charlotte for several years, I am excited to marry my real estate valuation experience with my first love, architecture, to help clients find the perfect home. I treat my clients as friends and strive to always make the experience fun while I provide them the service I would want my own family to receive. When I'm not busy with real estate, I am busy with my husband Dan, my 11 year old son Maxon, and my 9 year old daughter Anika.

When I began my career in real estate one of the first things I did was sign up for volunteer opportunities at the Association. Becoming an active volunteer for committees helped me better develop my skills as a Realtor®, improved my understanding of the Association and solidified my desire to work with fellow Realtors® to create positive actions. I’ve always looked for opportunities to serve my community and to make a difference. Whether developing small businesses, managing departments for a major corporation, volunteering or leading a Congressional Office, I’ve always focused on improving processes, understanding the issues and finding solutions. I believe any past team member or client I’ve worked with will tell you I am committed to giving it my best in every endeavor and I will not rest until I complete my commitments. Throughout my career, I’ve taken the time to focus on the numbers and analyze the right path. Prior to real estate my responsibilities included developing business plans and budgets. I’ve also worked with teams to analyze budgets and find ways to improve processes to hit financial goals when budgets were shrinking and margins had to be met. I believe my financial and analytical experience guides me as I work with each client to advise and assist in making the best decisions possible as they buy or sell a home. Since becoming a Realtor I’ve guided and assisted hundreds of families and investors in buying and selling homes. I’ve been in Charlotte for 14 years and lived throughout the area. I’ve been married for 15 years to Mike Johannes and I’m the proud Mother of a 12-year old daughter, Zoe.
